Image Posting and Uploading
1) You should have and account in any Image hosting site (e.g http://Photobucket.com). Accomplish account registration before you can proceed next. Photobucket Shortcut link: New Account | Login.
2) Now that you have have an account, you should now be able to login to the site and load up your pictures and avatars, See image instruction.
Uploading the Images
NOTE: Uploading may take a while depending on the size of the image and your internet connection.
3) Now that you have uploaded the images scroll down the internet explorer window down and select you uploaded image.
4) Look for a tag that has IMG in it.
5) The tag should look like this
copy it then paste it at the forum board.
6) Check your new posted image on the forum board.
7) Just follow same process in uploading your avatar.
Reminders: Avatar and picture must not exceed the allowable width & height set by the admin.
Image Thumbnailing
Thumbnails are very handy little images to use in many situations. They are just smaller versions of your full-sized pictures, that when clicked on, will open the full-sized image in a new window.
To create thumbnails from your album is very easy.
This is really useful if you are posting a bunch of pics, as it makes the page faster to load, and it is easier on any dial-up viewers that may view your page. They can then open one full-sized image at a time, and not overload their connections. It will also use up less of your bandwidth.
They are great for eBay when you want to display many pictures of your items at a glance, and provide close-ups when needed.
1) Select the images that you want to create clickable thumbnails for. You can do this for a few pictures by ticking the little boxes under them, or select all within a sub-album by using the 'Select all' feature near the bottom of the page or just check/select the picture you want to generate . Then click the 'Generate HTML and IMG code' button.
A new page will open. You then need to just copy the correct code (depending on where you will be posting) and then paste it on the forum board.
Here my example of what it will look like, and how it will work. (click the picture below)
NOTE: Thumbnailing of images are not applicable to avatars.
This example only covers photobucket but it is fairly the same with other hosting sites.
